Hi, my name is Andrew Potter and I am the Owner / Director of Team Transform, a newly formed group fitness business in Villawood.
I have previously established myself in the area over the past 14 months or so, trading under a different business name which I had become a franchisee of. As of last month I have parted ways from that business, as much as I enjoyed my time and loved the brand. The time had come for me to take control and explore all the endless possibilities that come with owning your own business. I have many ideas and visions for my business for the future, to offer the best group fitness sessions available in the Bankstown area, for a great affordable price. I am extremely passionate about group fitness, and about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. To see people making new friends, sharing common interests, working together and pushing each other to reach common goals, that is what I want Team Transform to represent. Regardless of your age, race, gender or fitness level, everyone has a chance to be a part of something great! To improve yourself, to strive to be the best you can be, physically and mentally.
Obviously I would like to help everyone achieve their goals, regardless of what it is, but the most common goal of majority of our members is weight loss. I have witnessed some amazing results from determined individuals, and seen people make really positive changes to their lifestyle, which I think is the most important thing overall. With obesity such a huge problem in this country, and in particular Western Sydney, I am determined to share my knowledge and experience to help as many people as I can. Team Transform isn’t for people who are looking for a short term answer to a long term problem. You can’t undo 10-30 years of poor eating and lack of movement in 6 weeks, but you can however make a start to changing your life. We don’t promote extreme diets and weight loss pills, or a machine that will get you a 6 pack in 30 days. What we do promote however is a holistic approach to health, incorporating 3 key aspects to being healthy, changing your mind set, exercising regularly and eating quality, nutritious food. If you can change one single thing a week that you currently are doing, whether it’s cut back on the energy drinks, smoke 1 less cigarette, exercise for 10mins on a day when you do nothing, then I can guarantee that eventually with time these small positive changes will add up and you will have success with your goal.
