A large part of our Group Training sessions at Team Transform includes different levels and types of cardio training. Both Low-Medium and High intensity levels of cardio are important not only for weight loss, but to strengthen your heart and lungs by improving your cardiovascular endurance. The higher level of cardiovascular endurance you have, the greater level of exercise you will be able to achieve, and maintain for longer periods of time, therefore it has a direct effect on your physical performance. Not only will exercise become easier, you will recover faster as well!
To maximize results, we use effective cardio workouts such as H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training) / Tabata, Boxing and different types of Circuits. These range from short workout periods of high intensity, to longer more sustainable workout periods with constant low-medium intensity. Each workout will ensure you are effectively burning as many calories as possible, while constantly improving your fitness and ability to recover!
